| In 1945, P. Ode Hegg began selling farmland in eastern South Dakota. It was the beginning of Hegg Companies, Inc., a family business founded on the principles of integrity and exceptiopronal service. In the 1960’s Peter Hegg became the second generation to lead the Hegg family business, adding his special expertise in hospitality, development and management. For over 30 years, Peter provided vision and leadership as Hegg Companies’ President and CEO. In April 2002, Hegg named Paul Ode Hegg as its new President and CEO. Paul brings his extensive experience, management expertise and pride in three generations of Hegg service to this position of leadership. Our vision is for Hegg Companies to continue to grow in strength as well as stability, integrating Real Estate Development, Commercial Brokerage, Property Management, and Hospitality Management.
